Daily Market Summary

PBOC conducted another repurchase agreement. Hong Kong stocks swung between gains and losses. The range of HSI was only 115 pts. The index closed at 22,562 at last, up 53 pts. The market turnover was HK$50.33bn.

    CHINA UNICOM (762) jumped 3.8% to HK$10.38 and became the top gainer of the HSI. CHINA TELECOM (728) rose 4% and CHINA MOBILE (941) slid 0.4%. China Resources affiliates ended mixed. CHINA RES LAND (1109) rose 2.3% to HK$16.34, the second top gainer of the HSI. CHINA RES POWER (836) and CHINA RES CEMENT (1313) climbed 1.3% and 0.7% respectively. CHINA RES GAS (1193) and CHINA RESOURCES (291) fell 0.6% and 0.5%. It was said that 759 store is in negotiation with HKTV (1137) chairman Ricky Wong on online shopping. CEC (759) surged 17.9% to HK$2.63, while HKTV climbed 0.9%.
