The Hong Kong market continued to rebound on Tuesday as local political tensions seemed to have eased. The HSI rebounded as much as 203 points (0.9%) to 23,518 but eventually settled at 23,423 with a gain of 107 points (0.5%). The HSCEI also rose 59 points to 10,469 as market turnover dwindled further to HK$68.6b.
