Hong Kong Stock Market Summary

    Hong Kong stocks wavered last Friday. The HSI closed at 24,486, down 10 pts. The main board turnover was HK$77.88bn.

    ICBC (1398) fell 1.3% to HK$5.5, after reporting worse-than-expected 2014 results. Other Mainland Banks ended mixed. CCB (939) slid 1.1%. MINSHENG (1988) and CM BANK (3968) rose 1.1% and 0.8%. The Chinese government is expected to announce policies to stabilize the property market. Mainland developers advanced. CHINA RES LAND (1109) and CHINA OVERSEAS (688) rose 5% and 3.5%, and became the top two gainers of the HSI. AGILE PROPERTY (3383) and SUNAC (1918) jumped 7.2% and 6.7%. Mainland railway shares performed well. CNR (1766) and CSR (1766) rose 3.9% and 3.2%.
