    Mainland and Hong Kong stocks performed well in the last trading day, the HSI once rose 217pts, closed at 24,018, up 102pts. The mainboard turnover was HK$86.8bn.

    TENCENT (700) interim results was in line with expectations, share price jumped 6.8% to HK$144.1, became the top gain of the HSI. LENOVO (992) reported a 51% Q1 net profit drop, share price shed 9.1% to HK$7.7, became the top loser of the HSI. Gold prices advanced, ZHAOJIN MINING (1818) rose 8.1% to HK$4.27, CHINAGOLDINTL (2099) AND LINGBAO GOLD (3330) rose 5% and 3.5%. Macau gambling shares fall, SJM(880) interim net profit fall 54.1%YoY, share price dropped 6.7% to HK$8.27, GALAXY(27) and SANDS CHINA(1928) fall 3% and 3.2%.
