    It looks to be another pretty quiet session on the global front. The Asiantime zone will see Australia’s CAPEX survey of interest especially in thenon-mining sector. During the European session, the ECB will releaseits money and credit aggregates for July. We will also be receiving theFrench national business survey, German import prices, and UK houseprices. All eyes will be on the advance estimate of Q2 GDP growth inthe US, expected to be lifted to around 3.2% saar. The usual weekly initialjobless claims report, July pending home sales and the Kansas CityFed’s manufacturing survey for August are also due. Last but not least,today marks the opening of the Kansas City Fed’s annual symposium atJackson Hole, which continues through Saturday.

    Key data in Asia today (Thur 27 Aug) will be Philippines’ 2Q15 GDPreport at 10am, with expectation for growth to hold steady at 5.7%y/y (1.7%q/q SA) from 5.2% (0.3%q/q) in 1Q15. Other than that, marketfocus will be on the annual Jackson Hole Symposium hosted by KansasCity Fed from 27-29 Aug, though US Fed Chair Yellen will not beattending.
