    Focusing on the seven key tasks for the development of the Xiongan new economic zone, we have taken a look at potential beneficiaries in the steel, power equipment & new energy, property, environmental, and building materials sectors. Noticeably the first two of the seven key tasks for the new zone are environmentally related. Accelerated urbanization and infrastructure development surrounding the new zone will boost regional steel demand, while a higher level of openness to the global market will help drive steel exports by regional companies.
