Malaysia:too soon for a rate hike

With slowing inflation, weak credit growth and a surging currency, now is not thetime for Bank Negara Malaysia to raise rates, in our view. That time will come laterthis year, we expect, after inflation returns to an upward trend and the currencyis less strong.
